Another picture of me armor for the renascence fair in bristol Wisconsin.

I just wanted a barbaric look to the armor. At the drawing board I had no idea I would be using real skulls bones pelts furs teeth and claws.
The idea behind this armor, basically turned into dead things. save some metal, everything on the armor was alive at one point.
And save the dying and the cutting, this was fun as hell to make!
I, the Norse-Gael made it, hence "Norse-Gael armor"

Had a grate time at the renascence fair! Very nice people.

I felt it only appropriate to cut out the other folk in the picture. They where strangers and I'm not 100% on how they would take to having their picture up on the internet. :/
Just being courteous. But if ya wanted to see the full thing, just ask, haha. I'll sendy, just not posty.

PS
I'm still on the lookout for animal parts. The collecting and adding to the armor was so much fun that I dont plan on stopping. So any help would be great!

This is a very impressive piece. I'm curious to know if you stitched it all your self? And also, how ever you able to find all these animal bones?

I mainly riveted it all together. Once in a blue moon I'll lace things together. I live on the edge of a forest, so most of the boned come from there. actually, on this piece all of the bones come from there. On later work I bought bones from this exotic meats store. I keep thinking of hunting animals and using the fur and bones and making jerky out of the meat... but it gets increasingly more difficult to think about.

I absolutely love your work. I was wondering if you would do commission pieces or would maybe provide a pattern as to how you made these? My boyfriend loves everything Nordic and Viking and I would really like to either make him something like this or purchase it.

I do commissions. But if you did want to make it yourself, its easy. Its just a matter of getting the tools, sizing, cutting, dying and riveting. My version of sizing is slapping poster paper on the chest and figuring out the general comfort. Im down with figuring out a pattern, or even coming up with a new pattern. I am pretty busy with school at the moment, so i would have to keep you posted for when i would be able to do a commissions. A pattern would take time too, but if you can fallow chicken scratch, I should be able to do that in between classes.
